“Love, Truth, and Peace
18 And the word of the Lord of hosts came unto me, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month,
and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.19Thus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:  21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.  22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord.  23 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We
will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you the Spirit gives life.”
Love is unselfish, loyal and benevolent concern for the well-being of another.  Some other words for Love; dearness, affection, or of high regard.
1 Corinthians 13:1-8 1 Though I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have
become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.  3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.  4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t
brag, is not proud,  5doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;  6doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.  Truth; that which is reliable and can be trusted completely, and faithfulness.  I Samuel 12:24 “Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart:  for consider how great things he hath done for you.“ John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the way, truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
He reveals truth to us and gives life to us. Peace!!  Peace, spiritual, sense of well-being and fulfillment that comes from God is dependent on His presence.  In Hebrew the word shalom meaning is wholeness or well-being - - - peace. Throughout the Old Testament spiritual peace is realized when people are rightly related to each other & God.
In the New Testament the idea of peace, well-being, restoration, reconciliation with God, and salvation in the fullest sense.  God is the “God of Peace”.  Romans 15:33 “Jesus is our peace.  In Him we discover that ultimate peace which
only God can give.  This peace is experienced as an inner spiritual peace by the individual believer.
Some other words for peace may be; God’s salvation, freedom from distress & fear, security, mercy, joy, grace, love,
life, and righteousness.  Such peace is a fruit of the Spirit.
